ENDLESS SLEEPER II

$380.00

Endless Sleeper II is an analog voiced cascading dual-delay pedal with a tonne of versatility and experimentation upgrades over its V1 predecessor.

The dry signal stays fully analog from input to output, while the wet signal passes through two digital delay chips, each with controls for DELAY (Mix), D. TIME, GLIDE and FEEDBACK. Each delay time ranges from 30ms to 1500ms: the longer the delay time, the further the trails degrade into grainy shades of low fidelity.

Self-oscillation mode will occur by either raising the FEEDBACK knobs, or by engaging the OVERLOAD foot-switch, momentarily maxing out both delay’s feedback controls for hands-free sonic mayhem.

The GLIDE control modulates the pitch of each delay line, with individual rate adjustments and two LFO’s that are selectable between SINE, SQUARE, and RANDOM waveforms. This adds a rich layer of warbling textures—lush chorus, vibrato, flutter & wow, or deep waves of pitch shifting madness.

The CRUSH control drives the delay’s output into an analog sample rate reducer, which crushes your signal down to emulate sounds similar to 8-bit gaming consoles and microcomputers of the 1980’s, with an added MIX control to blend from a sparkly lo-fi bit-crushing effect, to an aggressive 8-bit fuzz.

The most experimental feature, symbolised as <<< forces the output of DELAY II back into the input of DELAY I, causing a third delay line, adding an additional repeat to every previous sequence of repeats, for the creation of subtle ambient-echo textures to total synthetic dream simulation.

CONTROLS

DELAY: Controls the balance between the dry (unaffected) signal and the delayed signal, adjusting the wet/dry mix.

D. TIME: Sets the delay time from 30ms to 1500ms. Longer delays introduce more lo-fi characteristics, with added noise, distortion, and other artifacts.

FEEDBACK: Adjusts the number of repeats, from a single slap-back at lower settings to infinite repeats and chaotic oscillations at higher settings

GLIDE: Controls the depth of pitch modulation applied to the delayed signal.

RATE I & II: Controls the speed (rate) of the Glide LFO modulation, adjusting how quickly the pitch modulation occurs.

WAVEFORMS: Selects the Glide modulation LFO waveform: Sine, Square, or Random.

CRUSH: Reduces the sample rate of the output signal, from a soft chime at lower settings to full 8-bit fuzz at higher settings. (Sample rate range: 40kHz to 270Hz)

MIX: Adjusts the wet/dry mix of the CRUSH sample rate reduction effect.

<<<: Routes the output of DELAY II back into the input of DELAY I, causing a third delay line, adding an additional repeat to every previous sequence of repeats. Both delays need to be active for this to have an effect, and the D. TIME of both delay’s determine how it will sound.

OVERLOAD: When engaged, it momentary maxes out both FEEDBACK controls.

BYPASS: True Bypass, effect ON/OFF.
